Dry Suit Diver Speciality | PADI

The PADI Dry Suit Diver course is perfect for those wanting to continue their dive journey in the UK (and other places around the world), where there are colder water temperatures and climate. Becoming dry suit qualified allows you to dive in more places, more often, with the ability to be able to hire equipment on site, if required.

The course consists of an element of online theory, a dry suit orientation in the pool, along with 2 open water dives, where you will learn how to control your buoyancy and explore the dive site.

**Please note that the online booking dates are for the Open Water dives only. Once you have booked the course you will need to call into the dive centre to try on the required equipment prior to any training. You will also need to schedule a pool orientation lesson (at any of our pool sessions) prior to your open water training day/s. Pool sessions take place on the 1st, 3rd & 4th Sunday of the month.

 With a wealth of combined knowledge and experience, our professional and friendly team are dedicated to ensure you not just enjoy and pass the course, but become great divers. You will receive your Dry Suit qualification once all parts have been successfully completed.

Our open water dives are typically undertaken at The Delph Watersports Centre, Eccleston, over 2 days. Equipment hire is included for this, but you will be required to come to the dive centre, prior to your orientation pool session, in order to try on and select the necessary equipment, for your personal use throughout the duration of the course. **Please note that there there will be a dive site entry & membership fee requirement, payable upon entry to The Delph, of approx £40pp.

If you have not dived within the last 12 months a basic scuba review will be required, or the scuba review plus if you haven't dived within the last 2 years.

**If you require more training, in addition to the included time frame listed above, this may incur additional fees as follows: Pool Session + £45 Open Water +£95 per session.

Terms and Conditions for Core Courses

1. Booking and Expiry

   • All courses must be booked and completed within the expiry date agreed upon at the time of purchase. No extensions will be granted under any circumstances.

2. Cancellations

   • Cancellations must be notified at least 3 working days prior to the scheduled course date.
   • Cancellations made within 3 working days of the scheduled course will result in the full course fee being forfeited.
   • If you cancel or reschedule your course more than once, no further extensions will be provided, and the course fee will be forfeited.

3. Expiry and Rescheduling

   • If you schedule your course for a date beyond the agreed expiry date and subsequently cancel, no further extensions will be provided, and the course fee will be forfeited.

4. Diver Medical Requirements

   • All participants must read and fully understand the Diver Medical Questionnaire prior to booking.
   • If you answer 'YES' to any questions in Sections 3, 5, or 10 of the questionnaire, a doctor’s note will be required.
   • No refunds will be issued for failed medicals. However, at the owner’s discretion, your course fee may be applied toward other goods or services.

5. Late Arrivals

   • All participants must arrive at the designated start time. Late arrivals will not be permitted to join the course, as resources and schedules cannot accommodate late starters.

6. E-Learning Requirements

   • Participants required to complete e-learning must do so no later than 1 week prior to the course start date.
   • Incomplete registrations or unfinished e-learning will result in exclusion from the course, with no refund or rescheduling allowed.

7. Additional Training

   • Should you require additional training outside of the standard course schedule, this will incur additional charges as follows:
     • £45 per person per pool session
     • £95 per person per Open Water Dive

8. General Terms

   • Course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed at the owner’s discretion.
   • No partial refunds or credits will be issued for incomplete courses.
